Thanks to our partner employers Nilsen Group (WA) and NSG BOFFA (SA) who invited us to worksites in Perth (on Friday) and Adelaide (Monday).
It was great to chat to their teams, and especially great to hear directly from some women apprentices about what got them into the electrical trade, why they are staying, and what sort of support they might benefit from with Big Sister. Big Sister loves working with passionate employers committed to doing what they can to help grow our industry!
So exciting also to get a taste of what it’s like to work on two of the major construction projects shaping Perth and Adelaide’s cityscape, the Edith Cowan Upgrade (Nilsen WA) and Adelaide Central Market’s Market Square development (NSG Boffa).
