2025 SkillsWest Career Expo

Big Sister was at the 2025 SkillsWest Career Expo in Perth. It was a brilliant event – and big thanks to Big Sister partner Electrotechnology Training Institute (ETI) and College of Electrical Training (CET) for giving Big Sister space on their excellent stall; sharing with all the school leavers how fulfilling a career in the electrical trades can be.

SkillsWest gave us a great chance to speak to young people about what a career in the electrical trades could mean for them – the opportunities it can open up, the career pathways you can have, the financial and job security these careers can provide.

It was wonderful to speak with so many young women about the possibilities open to them in the energy trades.
